Or .info is like 1$ a year ). In the long run you will want a real domain to have your blog hosted on as first impressions are very crucial in marketing or trying to make a credible blog.
Personally I would only suggest you Remotely host your blogs for the first 2months maximum until you have learned your way around wordpress and maintaining a blog. Webhosting and domains are very cheap nowadays . Get started with a domain and hosting here
Self Hosted
Having your blog self hosted is the best way to go. You have access to all your content as it sits in your hosting account so you have 100% control.
