Learn How To Create Your First Blog
Blogs are just like a website but they are free to create and very easy. The information is
usually organized by posts that are dated and categorized with the most recent entries first.( you can customize them otherwise though)
By far blogs are easier to startup then webites, which leads people to beleive blogs are a better way to go than websites.
This isn't the case
Creating a website or blog requires some basic skills , patience , some spare time , the use of internet marketing to promote your blog or site and ofcourse the much needed search engine optimization - click here for more info (getting organic traffic to your websites from search engines such as google and yahoo.)(very important). When all is said and done making a blog or a website takes some time and patience but once evolved can make you alot of money.
There are many places to create blogs in which some are very limiting to what you can do or achieve with your blog. A place to start and make an easy blog are places like blogspot.com . I would highly recommend you start with a place called wordpress.com , it will give you alot more options and flexibility to create your blogs content and layout . Most successful bloggers use wordpress because of its plugins that can help you with search engine optimization and minimizing your efforts. Wordpress is worth the extra couple hours of tinkering around to learn and you will be happy with your blog in the long run.
Remote Hosted Blog Vs Self Hosted Blog
Remotely Hosted
There are two ways to have your blog hosted. The most common way for beginners is to simply have the blogging site which they created their blog at to host it(this involves no work whatesover , it is automatically hosted). So basically the site you signed up for the blog with holds your content/files on their servers for you.
This is always risky as your blog gets older as you dont have control over your content if the company closed or servers went down. I recommend play around with your blog for some months until your ready for self hosting.
The address of a remote hosted blog doesnt look as professional as well . As your blog would be something like http://yourblog.blogspot.com or http://yourblog.wordpress.com (ofcourse you can always just buy a domain for 9$ and forward it to your blog site until your ready to Self Host your blog. Or .info is like 1$ a year ). In the long run you will want a real domain to have your blog hosted on as first impressions are very crucial in marketing or trying to make a credible blog.
Personally I would only suggest you Remotely host your blogs for the first 2months maximum until you have learned your way around wordpress and maintaining a blog. Webhosting and domains are very cheap nowadays . Get started with a domain and hosting here
Self Hosted
Having your blog self hosted is the best way to go. You have access to all your content as it sits in your hosting account so you have 100% control. You also can chose your own domain name like www.yourname.com so you make a great impression on your visitors. What are you waiting for make your mark on the internet today .

Blog often but make sure the posts are Meaningful
When it comes to blogging , updating your content is very good when it comes to search engine optimization - click here for more info , but at the same time the quality of the content your updating is far more important then the quantity.
